The small town of Arundel is bordered by the towns of Kennebunkport to the southeast, Kennebunk to the southwest, Lyman to the northwest, Dayton to the north, and Biddeford to the northeast and is drained by Kennebunk River.

History:
Originally the part of the area known as Cape Porpois, the town of Arundel became a state of its own in 1820. It was first named as Kennebunkport and was incorporated as North Kennebunkport later in 1915. Following the publication of the Chronicles of Arundel (1957), the town was renamed, Arundel, after Lord Arundel.
Once a rural town of dairy farmers, Arundel today is a suburban community for workers in neighboring areas.
